You've probably been seeing a lot of winning posts on our FLIP and VAB group about students who finally got their first client because of the Hustle Challenge.
The Hustle Challenge is included in the VA Bootcamp courses and is definitely something you could look forward to when you enroll.
In this FLIP Chat & Chill episode, we'll have some of our Hustle Challengers share their winning moments of getting clients during or after graduating the Hustle Challenge.

I'm so thankful sa va bootcamp kasi ang laking tulong ng mga modules para ma improve ko ang profile, proposals ang portfolio ko to get clients. At ang pinang enroll ko nabawi ko rin within a month.

How do we appropriately apply the credly badges on our Upwork profile / portfolio?
What I did was upload it on portfolio section then titled it with certification and credly badges

Reading and observing p lang po till now, but im planning to enroll, isa sa hesitation ko is yung fluency po sa english language hindi kasi ako ganun ka pangmalakasan sa english😁, one more is hindi rin po ako computer savvy😊. Advise po. Till now medyo nangangapa pa rin ako sa mga terminologies sa online Jobs

Sa pag aaral ok nmn cp pero mas ok n may laptop llo n po kng actual job. Mas mananavigate mo ng maayos po
Could be just me, pero i VA'd for my partner using my phone, and it took me about 1.5hrs to finish typing her hard written paper and save it with specific formats, which i could finish in 12mins if it were on a laptop/pc keyboard. Same with the module activities, iba pag mas marami mapipindot and malaki screen sa phone, maybe tablet/ipad would be better 😄

Application to a job post? Personal tip: Read the job brief thoroughly and talk about how you'll attack the issues addressed. Talk less about you and more about what you will do to solve their problem.
You can start with many skills. But I believe you will eventually filter out those skills until you will discover your niche.
I encourage freelancers to rather keep honing whatever skills they have, rather than gathering more and more skills (especially irrelevant to their specialty). But I also encourage freelancers more to follow what works for them; what they enjoy doing.

Some of my first transcription work was done using my Galaxy S3 phone. Mahirap.
However, it is doable. You need to master navigating around your phone and using the right apps to make things easier for you. The problem with this approach is you will be limited to do tasks that your phone can do. It will test your patience.
