It's true that work-at-home moms (WAHMs) get to live the best of both worlds, pero nasa atin din ang challenges of both worlds.

Kaya aaminin kong the struggle is real talaga sa pagma-manage ng freelance business.

But after the event, I realized na madami pala akong na-try na tools upang mapadali ang buhay ko bilang isang freelancer.

So I decided to share a list of my favorite tools dito - sana’y makatulong ito upang mapagaan ang buhay ng ating mga mommy readers.

Dahil sa tuwing madali nating natatapos ang mga tungkulin sa bahay at sa clients, mas magkakaroon tayo ng time para sa ating kids at hubby, and of course, sa ating mga sarili rin.

I will divide my list into 2 categories:

Household Tools

1. Automatic Washing Machine

Marami kang pwedeng gawing tasks or chores habang umaandar ito.

Ilagay lang lahat ng ingredients sa cooker, turn it on, leave for 4-6 hours, then may ulam na kayo!

Mas malambot and malasa pa yung meat kapag niluto rito.

Suggestion ko is, habang naghahanda ng breakfast sa umaga (in my case, 5:30AM kapag pasukan), paandarin mo na rin si slow cooker.

Pwede kang mag-work or gumawa ng iba pang gawaing bahay.

3. Online Banking App

If hindi pa, i-try niyo.

4. Google Keep

Grocery list.  To-Do List. Don't Forget List.

For this purpose, I keep all my lists in Google Keep.

I like color-coding my lists. I also love how the checklist updates, when you mark items.

5. Monefy (Money Manager)

Moneyfy is one of top tools for work at home moms

Madami namang pagpipilian sa App Store or Playstore niyo sa phones, but I like Monefy dahil simple and straightforward lang siya gamitin.

Click niyo lang ang corresponding buttons to add an Income or an Expense, select ka lang ng Category and makikita mo na 'yung spending and saving activities mo for the month - very helpful talaga para mapadali ang pagba-budget!

Work-related Apps

6. Google Calendar

I like using calendar apps for this purpose. Pwede kang mag-set ng reminders or mag-plan ng weekly and monthly schedules rito.

You can also time-block specific hours para sa pagta-trabaho or para sa family time.

Para sa'kin, mas effective kasi ang time management kung nakaka-zoom in and out ka sa mga nais mong maachieve every week and every month.

7. Trello

8. White Noise App

I like using the White Noise App dahil nakakatulong siya na makapag-concentrate ako while working. But based on their site, helpful rin pala ang white noise upang magpakalma at magpatulog ng mga babies.

Honestly, di ko pa siya nat-try dahil 6 years old na 'yung youngest ko. But this is worth a try para sa mga mommies with toddlers.

9. Franz

10. Tomighty

Tomighty is one of top tools for work at home moms

May 5-minute break after ng 25 minutes. At madalas, after 4 sets (or 2 hours), magpapahinga na ako or gagawa ng ibang gawaing hindi na nakaharap sa computer or cellphone.

So mga mommies, which of my faves ang ginagamit niyo na?

Alin naman ang bet niyong subukan?

Kung may fave tools or apps din kayo na gustong i-recommend, let me know in the comments below para ma-try ko rin. 🙂 Stay awesome, mga wahms!

  1. hmmm.. i envy you being able to do all those.. im a working mom with a 6mo. old baby.. i've been trying to cope up with my time to do freelancing (actually, still on va bootcamp modules, i still can't get it done =( and i think i've already forgotten the previous lessons =( =( ) while finishing my reports to my boss, and attend my baby's needs, where everything stops whenever he ask for attention (^_^). I just hope there's a robot who could replace my role, only when i need to.. but its too impossible and nakakatakot din siguro=> i just keep on reading your posts and other freelancers on our fb group to keep my self inspired and keep moving, kahit feeling ko napag iwinan na ako ng iba.. still hoping that someday i could work on this on my right time, as the saying goes (^_^) God bless to us all!
