Do you have travel or food trip goals — pero gipit sa budget at sa oras?

Especially if you’re working in the BPO industry, medyo strict sa attendance at di din ganun kalaki ang sahod.

TBH, working in the BPO or call center industry is a good option.

It’s actually less restrictive with regard to job qualifications or requirements compared to other industries.

But the work environment is very stressful and competitive.

That’s why several Gen Z workers have a job-hopping habit.

Most of the young workers, if not all, are aiming for a good work-life balance.

It’s not realistically feasible in the corporate setting.

However, you and I can earn more without breaking our backs.

There are several options now in the online freelancing community.

It’s risky and scary to shift away from the corporate sector.

But the rewards will definitely be worth it.

More free time to travel anytime we want without begging for a vacation leave.

More money to splurge on ourselves and our families.

More flexibility to indulge in our whims.

The key is to take action.

Well done is better than well said.

One day or day one.

Your call.

Meet Charlaine or Cha.

She’s a widow who used to work in the corporate sector for various roles, such as internal auditor, bookkeeper, and garment/retail apparel merchandiser.

She also tried online selling, being a franchisee, and a sole proprietor.

In January 2021, depleting pension funds prompted her to look into online jobs through her phone and discovered the world of freelancing.

Now, she works as a Brand Specialist on a per-hour basis.

She can now work as she pleases and anywhere she wants.

The freedom she used to aspire for, is now a reality.

Just like Cha, quit overthinking and do something.

The answers will follow.

Action always beats intention.

Her courage and decisiveness in taking action helped her achieve the freedom she wants.
