The problem occurs from poor communication — when we’re not able to communicate our thoughts or ideas to others.

Be it in our family, friends, or even clients.

Which is why it’s important to have clear communication with them.

Syempre, ayaw naman natin na magkaproblem just because of a simple misunderstanding.

So how do we do it?

As freelancers, we set up regular meetings or set expectations, among others.

Whichever works for you.

  1. Communication is a two-way process. We as applicants needs to come prepared, relaxed and just be open and honest with whom you are communicating with. Stammering and at times mental block happens but as long as we know to do like simple ad-libs....I feel I will be fine with the client. Inhale, exhale and focus back to the topic.

  2. Being confident is good and being honest with the client is much better. Be polite in saying that it is on the tip of your tounge and the client will surely understand that you know what you what to say but it so happened you forgot that time.

  3. If I do not what the client is asking....my rule eversince I started working is ..." I won't say that I don't know ...I will say that I will check and will get back to him/her at once."
