Dagdagan natin ang problema mo! Joke lang!

When we hear the word "problem", oftentimes we think about:

- something negative that we need to turn into positive
- a challenge that we need to overcome
- a difficulty that we need to get out of

The dictionary defines it as "a matter or situation regarded as unwelcome or harmful and needing to be dealt with and overcome."

Because of this, some people tend to avoid or escape problems rather than deal with them. This often leads to more problems, and the situation gets worse because they are not addressed properly.

What are the problems that freelancers usually face? And what are the best ways to deal with them?

That's our topic on our next episode of FLIP Chat & Chill. We'll talk about toxic, low-paying clients, vague requirements or requests, and late payments to name a few.

If you are a newbie freelancer, this is a must-watch for you.

If you are an experienced freelancer, you have probably gone through most of these problems. I encourage you to watch this so you can share your own experiences and best practices to our community.

  1. I encounter a client yesterday, and I just wonder where did he get my email kasi Im sure di ako nag apply sa kanya kasi if I did, he will know my profile directly. He asked me kasi if Im really a VA daw kasi dami ko tanong reg. Sa work. Siya din kasi di rin niya nililinaw 😅

  3. I had clients before na nagbigay lng ng one-time projects. Totoo, dapat humanap parin ng new clients. 🙂 Pero after a few months or even years, minessage ko ulit sila just to let them know na buhay parin ako, at ready parin to work on a project if they need help on it. Madami din po sa kanila nagrereply ang nagssend ulit ng contract. Minsan kasi, nakakalimot sila. 🙂

  4. If coming off from consultancy work, I think coming up with a value for your services may be easier when transitioning to VA freelance work, given that you are used to billing clients - by the hour, by the day, or per project - there is what we call “level of effort”.
