For it to work out, you and your partner (client) have to share the same values, adhere to the same standards, play by the same rules, and be on the same page. Your skills should also match the needs of their business if you are looking to work with them continually.
In the same way, you need to develop qualities that will help you thrive in the freelancing industry. Working with a regular client is one thing. Being able to sustain your freelancing business and work with multiple clients for many years is another. It's another learning actually when we get invoved in Virtual Assistant training. Our high schòl and/or college schooling helped us tremendously in understanding things about freelancing. I have just applied a freelancing job in Upwork and hoping to be approved soon.
