Pokemon Go has taken the world by storm. Millions of people try to catch Pikachus and Pidgeys every day.
For most of us that grew up the 90s, it's a dream come true. Our childhood dreams of becoming Pokemon masters can now happen!
We've seen hundreds of people in one place, walking around, just staring at their phones trying to catch Pokemon. There have been car accidents and people falling off cliffs trying to catch the next legendary.
For a lot of people, they wish they could quit their jobs and focus 100% on Pokemon. Luckily for us freelancers, we can work both on freelancing and becoming Pokemon masters at the same time.
Freelancing lets us work almost anytime, anywhere as long as we have an internet connection and a laptop. Unlike the poor Pokemon trainer who have to go to the same office every day, we can work from many different locations.
In the morning, we can go to the Starbucks in Makati and catch Pokemon outside. Need to take a quick break? Pull out your phone and start throwing Pokeballs.
For lunch, we can go to a Jolibee in Pasig and capture the nearby gym.
In the afternoon, let's work in a Seattle's Best coffeeshop in Quezon City because they have a different gym to take over. (Go Team Valor!)
So there are Pokemon gyms in Baguio that you'd like to try and take. Hey, you have family in Baguio. You can go tell your family that you miss them and want to visit them (you don't need to tell them about the Pokemon gyms there).
Take a quick trip there for a week. You don't even need to go on work leave. You can continue working while in Baguio (if your family has internet there), spend time with your family, and work on spreading your team's influence!
One of the things the Pokemon GO creators did was distribute different Pokemon all around the world. There are probably Pokemon in Singapore that you can't catch in the Philippines. Unlike those poor office workers who can't keep earning money while abroad, we can.
Whether we stay with family or rent a room/bed, we can still keep earning no matter where we are in the world. And we can keep catching Pokemon, too.
hahaha nice catch!
