A few days from now and we're gonna be welcoming the month of April.
And it comes with the dreaded filing of taxes.
And as freelancers, we're not exempted from this.
If you're planning to register in the BIR...
If you wanna know the process for paying taxes here in our country...
Or if you're already doing it but still have questions (especially nowadays that our movement is very limited)...
Watch this replay of our FLIP Chat & Chill episode about "How Freelancers in the Philippines Pay Their Taxes."
Good evening Coach Jowi Morales!!!
hello po sa mga panels
Proud taxpayer po
I'm a taxpayer too.
ITR is waving...
Patrick Lopez Malicsi
Responsibility natin lahat yan although... it's depressing to do our part in paying, and it looks better if you invest on SSS, pag-ibig, mutual funds instead of paying taxes. Taxes are suppose to help us.
I have years of experience in BPO
is this recorded po? can i watch it later?
yes po, you can watch the replay. 🙂
for those asking, there is a recording that you can watch later 🙂

Ivana Manalo for 2020 covering from the approved date sa bir certification
8% is an option in filing an income tax return.it is based on the gross receipts/sales and other non operating income.with this selection you are choosing otherwise the graduated income tax rates and the pcercentage tax, thus only the creditable income withholding tax based o the prescribed rate.
first you need to register by obtaining BIR 2303 and you need to regs annually i think 500 yearly
yes, P500 annual registration
Yes. In BPO (when I was with one of the BPO companies).. I was deducted almost 5,000 a month. Mabigat po yan. 2017 po yan. Kaya nag resign na din ako. kasi wala din ako naiipon. and nakakasama PA ng loob nung humihingi ako ng support (ayuda) from the govenrnment.. I was required na DAPAT I am one of the "poorest from the poor"...
haha, akala ko, tatawa knnmn po. 😀 Thank you coach Jowi Morales
Mas ok po may bookeper kayo, para less hassle na po s pgasikaso.
yes you need to regs your personal receipt if you are doing business as self
employed. apply ATP or what we called AUTHORITY TO PRINT sa BIR po.
Next time sir, invite ka po namin. Dami nyo po alam about Taxes. Thanks for sharing po. 🙂
Sa Taxumo hassle-free =)
Hi Everyone, sharing the link - https://www.taxumo.com/freelance-tax-philippines/ Thanks
hehe.. 😀
Mas mahal po kc sumingil ang accountant. kaya i prefer s book keeper.
filing an ITR is a no brainer now po kasi on line na lang and payments are done on line.so you dont need to fall in line in any BIR offices. I pay it thru Gcash lang so walang huzzle po
if I've just started freelancing for six months, am I required to pay taxes immediately? thank you.
I only registered in BIR this March, do I have to file the 1701A on April 15?
hehehe BIR is simply harassing you on this sir Jowi
Usually bookkeepers are in partners with accountants because some docs need the signature of accountants
high end level kana pag nag taxumo ka hehehe.
Thank you very much po.

Online seller nlng pala sasabihin para maintindihan ng BIR, hehe.. Thanks po coach LJ. <3
hahahaha.. OOTD, new term. 😀
Thanks sa Tip coach LJ
haha... Kulit coach Jowi. 90% ndi gets. 😀
seriously speaking filling of ITR for freelancers is more of honestly, because there is not concrete policy or guidelines to mandate the filling of tax return. The govt is starting to look on this already since this pandemic because a lot are into freelancing or on line jobs now.
Ghia Clavo II Annalyn
Sakit sa bangs intindihin ang tax, haha.. Ubos nga ng brain cells sabi sir Phoenix. 😀
Ms Rafgeline, what you need to file is 1701q for 1st quarter 2021 . Deadline is May 15. Regardless of with or without payt.

Kakatatok ang BIR sa bahay tapos biglang nagsabi na nagsumbong yung renter na walang BIR daw yung business ahahaha.
in fairness with the BIR they also increase the exemption brackets to protect low or starter earner from hefty tax dues, we only need to educate ourselves or familiar
ourselves with the BIR regulations
May I ask sir ,Paano Po Yung MGA starter palang at earning 20,000 below at contractual Ang work ?
It's an obligation para sa bansa natin. 🙂
JCC with Felix Cordero, March 31 at 6PM

Fast Track to Freelancing Apri 10

Kakainspire si sir Phoenix. Nasa internet shop ngayon. May diskarte. 🙂
Carmee Dumag Sierra mag dodota na yan ahahaha
Paying taxes - Pros: 1. You can help the govt as a citizen of the Phils. 2. ITR's are required by banks when you apply for a loan and credit card.
Cons: 1. BIR imposes penalties for non-submission of BIR forms regardless of w/ or w/o tax dues. 2. Additional cost
Thank you coach LJ. <3
all boys pala ngayon
Nag-early exit na po ang only girl.. 🙂
Thanks coach Jowi. 🙂
ay oo yung me funnel webinar nag sign up ako
if you are not paying your taxes properly, then perhaps think twice about complaining with the govt
