A CPA by profession.

She worked in an auditing firm.

Volunteered in NGOs.

Worked in an LGU.

Before resigning to stay at home as a full-time mom.

Meet Fivemay.

After learning from her mentor, Bro. Bo Sanchez, about opportunities to earn from home, she decided to pursue the freelancing path.

Despite the lack of support from her husband.

Despite her self doubts and fears.

Fast forward to today….

She’s now making P30,000 for 2-3 hours of work per day.

On top of that, she’s now doing things she loves kahit nasa bahay lang.

“At palagi kong kasama mga anak ko. I witness and experience their growth, their person, their life.”

This for me is PRICELESS.

CPA worked in an Auditing Firm in Makati, Volunteered in an Organization, after 3 years she went back to corporate and worked in an LGU.

From FB Ads, she discovered her passion for writing and studied E-mail Copywriting. She started a collaboration with a client, now she’s near to having an agency.

Notable Quotes

  • Inspire and empower other people para mag-take action sa buhay nila. Kasi hindi palaging perfect at never talagang magiging perfect.
  • You should not wait for things to become perfect before mag-start sa kung ano man ang gusto mong gawin sa buhay.
  • Don’t over think, hindi naman ako perfect mom, hindi naman ako perfect parent bakit ko gagawin to pero naisip ko kasi I still have that message to share at hindi ko na hihintayin na umayos lahat bago ko sya i-share kasi baka maging too late na, baka may nangangailangan makarinig ng message na ito. Kaya don’t wait for things to be perfect before you take action, gawin mo na!
  • Start slowly take one step at a time and tapos kasi the best na teacher talaga is iyong experience, do it kahit magkamali okay lang yan.

  • Best learning experience is ginagawa mo sya in actual. Kung hindi kapa nagkaka-client offer your service for free kahit two weeks lang. Sabihin mo, you can use my time I will learn pero turuan mo ako libre lang to tutulungan kita kung anong kailangan mong tulong pero gusto ko rin matuto, para magkatraction at makapagsimula ka talaga. From there, makikita mo madali lang pala to, kaya mo naman pala, bakit hinantay ko pa, bakit hindi ko pa ginawa to and then you will build the relationship with that client, magkaka-trust na sya s’yo.

  • It was a stressful experience for her working in the government, but the good thing was she met the love of her life and built a family.

Question and Answer

May I please know what skills or competencies one needs to develop to be an email marketer?

Pinaka una talaga iyong basic na how to write emails, kaylangan matutunan ang email copywriting, email marketing platform na ginagamit ng client, like for me, yung niche ko kasi is e-commerce, so pinaka best na platform kasi for e-commerce na ginagamit for email marketing automation is klaviyo, iyon din yong inaaral ko, kung paano mag work around doon, mga segmentation at mga automation, paano mo i-schedule yung email na mag-send automatic, mga basic na pwedeng aralin sa email marketing. Actually marami nyan sa youtube, pero meron talagang special courses na ino-offer, if you want to learn more about that.

  2. Haha. Same with me. I do not like being an accountant for the same reasons. I did not work In a government institution because mostly it will involve corruption. But, sa private naman you are instructed to make “daya” with the books. It was fortunate that my last employer was an American firm, where I worked for 16 yrs, was very honest with their tax responsibilities.
