Freelancers can work best in their well organized and safe work station. Mahirap kasi magwork pag magulo ang paligid at hindi nakaayos ang mga wire.

Admittedly, what is comfortable would be the topmost consideration when working.
I started freelancing with my old laptop na prang pagong kung mag.loading plus sa dining table namin, minsan lilipat sa kama pero minsan lang kasi kadalsan pg nsa kama ako nag.wo.work, tulog ang kalalabasan 😅

Ngayon may space na sala kung saan may sariling lamesa na with 3 monitors (dahil tabi kami ng worl table ni hubby,) at office chair.. soon target own office room na talaga 😁

Im lucky kc mabait yung 2 daughter ko. Kapag sinabi ko na nag wowork ako, tahimik lang sila. At pag play time kailangan playtime, stop muna sa work. Kaya pag weekend kailangan stop muna ang work, family time muna. And Im thankful ako simuna ng ng fulltime freelancer na ako.

The “open office/space” concept in most offices nowadays means you can hear what the other person from the other end of the room when talking to another co-officemate or on the phone. People forget that there is office decorum to be observed still despite the said concept.
Noe, nailed it - but yes, we may still need to arrange our work station from time to time - at least keep it neat :-).

Re noise, I guess you can call it ambient noise - music, but when in deep work, like what Jason mentioned in a Paypal sponsored event, one may opt to listen to binaural beats.

ang lapatop ko po ay ang ginamit pa ng mga anak ko nung nasa college sila. Around 6 yr old na ito and still working. Lenovo po ito.
Dell i5 is the best for starting freelancer.
Una kong gamit na desktop more than 10 years na upgrade lang talaga. Nung kumita na ako since more on designing bumili na aq ng laptop, in case din ng brownout may back up aq.
Opo, kung kaya din lang maginvest mas maganda laptop talaga para fast magwork. Kung gusto din mag upgrade ng skill much better po. But if ndi kaya talaga upgrade na lang later cguradong kikitain mo nmn ang pambili ng bago 🙂

Paano po if your little ones eh talagang nagkukulit and is demanding your attention, ano po ang ginagawa nyo to tame them down?
How about this case? If one really has planned on going to freelance gradually, one can plan and gradually also setup one’s working area (equipment and space included, as well as, possibly addressing issues as noise), so that by the time one has transitioned to full-time freelancing, then one’s office is fully set up somehow.
Pwede po ba pumasyal sa may mga magagandang working space/office setup sa bahay, like yung kay Phoenix, kay Jariz, et al?
The best question is kung ilang months mo nabawi yung pinuhunan mo sa laptop or pc mo. Sa akin kasi yung dell i5 ko noon ay utang lang pero nabawi ko sya ng 5 months working parttime freelancer before. Now naka PC na ako.
Re scent, ang grabe naman pag may nag-open ng food container or lunch box na medyo di kanais-nais na amoy - haynaku.

Kinita ko ng less than a month yung pinangbili ko ng laptop at pinangayos ng work space ko. Kasi nakakuha aq ng mataas na rate per hour.
