Notable Quotes:

  • If you really want, marami namang paraan kung gusto mo talagang gawin, magagawa mo di ba?
  • That’s a good tip for everybody kasi even sa Bootcamp, we have a lot of lessons pero when you write your profile yung iba they just write one-time tapos submit agad parang they don’t have anybody else to review it. It really helps when somebody else looks at it kasi they see things na you don’t see. Find somebody you trust, like yung dad mo, to review it, and yung cover letter din. And that’s what I want to point out din to everybody who’s watching especially if you’re new to Upwork and new to freelancing, put effort in your overview first of all and also in your cover letters.

Princess Joyce Adrias Journey to Freelancing

  • She's a Nurse in KSA for 6 years, from 2010 to 2016.
  • Due to the unfortunate incident, she resigned and chose to become a full-time Mom to her kid.
  • She saw Jayson Dulay's post in "80k a month", and her sister helps her to enroll in the Complete package of  VA Bootcamp.
  • She's a "non-techie" person but she's eager to finish the VA Bootcamp to help her husband in their Financial Budget.
  • She graduated in VA Bootcamp first week of June 2017.
  • Right now she has 3 clients, 2 in Upwork and 1 in another platform.

Q&A Highlights

Parang around 3 weeks pa lang you had 3 clients, or four? Then you had to turn the other down. Tapos may declines pa. So what’s your secret?

Yung time na wala ka pang client, what was your routine? That got you to the point na magkaroon ng client? Were you applying to 1 job a day or 1 job per week?

How long does it take you to write cover letters?

From my overview to my cover letters bago ko sya i-send kung meron kayong grammar police ako meron akong general.
