NO.

Rejections will always hurt in whatever form it takes.

And we will always take it personally kahit hindi naman dapat.

Nobody likes to be rejected or the feeling it invokes in us.

It makes us feel like a loser.

It makes us feel bad.

It makes us feel frustrated.

According to the author and speaker Tony Robbins, we must learn how to cope with that little word “no” and learn how to strip that rejection of all its power in order to succeed.

I believe that we should use rejection as a springboard for our future victory.

We should use it as a tool to go on and work even harder for a “YES.”

Bear in mind that rejection is not failure.

It also doesn’t mean that we’re not good enough.

Everybody gets rejected, as in everybody, with no exceptions.

At the end of the day, it’s how we handle it that will determine where we will end up.

As online freelancers, we will definitely face several rejections as we struggle to get that first client or project.

But we must strive to keep on trying and to keep on moving forward.

Sometimes a rejection is actually a redirection to something much better.

Keep the faith.

Work hard.

Be patient.

  1. Always remember Dori's (Finding Nemo) quote "JUST KEEP SWIMMING, JUST KEEP SWIMMING" it means to keep going.. mareject ka man ngayon marami pading client na pwde mong mahuli

  2. "Kailangan natin maidentify ang mga bagay na dapat iimprove para makuha ang online work na hinahanap natin. I customized my online presence. Ang oras sa pagattend ng interview, ang pagreseach sa company ni client." -Sir Dane

  3. Been a Team Manager of a reputable bank for long time and Team Leader as well for a couple of years.. for a while I have this high regards to myself that when I enter freelancing world it will be easy for me.. then came rejection.. it hit me hard.. really hard to a point that I felt like I'm a looser.. rejection really reached me a lesson not to be complaisant and that you should never stop learning..

  4. "Sobra akong magoverthink before, I always thought, I'm not good enough. Ang tendency hindi na ako magaapply. Bawasan natin ang pagooverthink. Instead na nasa harap na ang opportunity, hindi natin maga-grab yun because of overthinking." -Narbs

  5. "Yung rejections that just a word. Wag tayo matakot. Don't quit. No fear. Hindi tlga tayo pinanganak with a golden spoon. Ito magpapatibay satin para to move forward. Not the right word for us to stop!" - Narbs

Or just let it go na lang din ba?

Though, kung lagi ka kumakain nga ng sermon na it affects na your mental state, mabuti na din na nawala ang client at maghanap ng bago.

  7. "Nareject lang ako, titigil na ako. One day, darating ako sa punto na okay na mga kapatid ko, inlaws, mga friends, may bahay para sa kids, lahat ng dreams binabalikan ko. Inom lang ng kape, bangon ulit." -Lizel
