Does any of these sound familiar?

"I have an interview by I'm afraid to go."

"I'm conscious about my English."

"I may not be able to answer questions properly."

"I don't have experience."

Listen up.

It’s totally normal to feel nervous in advance.

In fact, everyone is nervous about getting interviewed. Some hide it better than others though.

But here's one thing you need to keep in mind.

A job interview isn’t just an audition.

It’s a chance to learn more about the job while showcasing your skills and experience.

Your goal?

Find out whether the job is right for you.

And if you're really anxious about it, there's no other way to deal with it than be prepared.

That's exactly what we'll talk about on Monday in our FLIP Chat & Chill at 6 pm.

  1. My expectation sana matanggap kung sakaling ma interview wala pa naman po apply pa rin. Wala pa nga pero kinakabahan na po. Not yet confident kasi not too good in english.

  2. Along the way of series of interviews parang matututo ka na lang po talaga how to answer properly. sa umpisa nakaka-kaba po talaga, tapos mamemental block pa. hehe. Pero you learn from experiences, from failed interviews, until ma hire na tayo finally. fighting!

  3. So inspiring stories po for those who shared about there jobs as freelancers and I would love nga magkaroon ng trabaho like this, but still lack of knowledge about the nature of the said job.

  4. Hello everyone.. watching from batangas... during my first interview is very nerve wrecking since its my first time, just like everyone I failed but I guess it's just normal..it's part of learning experience and eventually I get better everytime I have job interviews.

  5. Mayron may na accent English/ Briton na seryoso na may high pride sa status and education na magiging grammar nazi din, wag matakot just be yourself. Kasi this is you interviewing the client if click kayo

  6. I've really learned a lot on the series of failed interviews and this helps me in building my confidence in dealing with foreign clients. Giving up is not listed in my vocabulary. Kailangan maimmune tayo s lahat ng rejections and nothing will stop me to reach my goal. Fight! Fight lng!!!

  7. Make sure to review your English 101, your subject-verb agreement, lest you can come across an interviewer who will comment "I'm sorry, but I don't have the time to teach English 101"

  8. Hello everybody. Watching from Dasmarinas Cavite. i have a scheduled final interview tomorrow. Hoping maitawid ko at makakuha ng work at this time of pandemic

  9. Try to read all needs ng client from Job post para di overwhelming, kasi specific naman ang mga clients sa mga kailangan nila. Then iparamdam mo lng sa kanila na willing ka to learn if out of the box thing is wala sa skillset mo kc need naman talaga nila ng VA na magwork ng task for them for the business.

  10. Your right Ms. Ivie I feel you. Ako naman mga online assessment mga pre interview pumapasa kaso pag dating na sa final interview naliligwak na. So paano ang mga newbie ma train at mabigyan ng chance so para ma improve naman at ma develop ang mga skilss natin

  11. Yup the pillars in what makes a difference between surviving and excelling:
    1. Emotions / Pain& Pleasure link
    2. Discipline / Resolved / Understanding
    3. Time Management/ Planning

  12. Kulang ang try and try until you succeed, need din ng stop look listen, love the criticism (it means they care for something related to the job), explore, re-plan, and go again

  13. If ya need a self push, have this as your mantra: "I conceive that pleasures are to be avoided if greater pains be the consequence, and pains to be coveted that will terminate in greater pleasures." —MICHEL DE MONTAIGNE

  14. Nag enroll po ako last week kase di ko na ss ung receipt ko. I paid through gcash-bank transfer. Until now I am waiting for the feedback regarding to my payment
