To check if Yoast is installed on the site, look for the SEO icon on the sidebar as shown below:
If it is not yet installed, go to Plugins > Add New
Type “Yoast” on the search bar and click on “Install Now”.
After the installation, click on “Activate.”
Once you have Yoast running, click on Posts then Add New.
Practice using Yoast to increase the “search engine friendliness” of the articles in your client’s website. Say, for example, his blog writer submitted the blog article below.
Copy and paste the article and optimize its contents by using your On-Page SEO knowledge and following the suggestions from Yoast. Aim to get as many green bullets from Yoast as possible.
