Have you dreamt of living and working abroad?

Some Pinoys have grand dreams about moving to a foreign country, traveling everywhere, and earning enough to support your family.

But tell you what.

If you ask OFWs they'll say "it’s never that simple."

Life abroad is actually full of sacrifices, struggles, and setbacks.

And if they have a choice, mas gusto nila mag-stay na lang dito sa Pinas to be with their family.

The best part is...

Freelancing has given us, not only OFWs, to stay at home, be with our family, without sacrificing your finances.

And in line with the celebration of OFW Month, I invite you to watch this replay of our FLIP Chat & Chill episode entitled "From OFW to OFW: How Overseas Filipino Workers Transition to Online Freelance Work."

If you know someone who'll benefit from this, feel free to share.

  1. Before or even now, freelancing is not taught in school. In school kasi we are taught na mag-aral ng mabuti para makakuha ng magandang trabaho local or abroad. We can only learn about freelancing through others experience or social media. 🙂

  2. OFW pa din ako till to date, but working from home. Still continuing to practice my profession wala po nmn nabago from traditional office jobs. Line of of work is the same.what I earned in WFH is your freedom you're own time.

  3. Sa freelancing ko lang din naranasan yung ina-appreciate ng boss mo yung ginagawa mo. Compared sa corporate work, kahit dugo at pawis mo na puhunan mo, sa kanila kulang parin ginagawa mo. Sad but true.
